Blur is an NFT marketplace built for pro traders. Its February 2023 BLUR airdrop, designed around royalty evaluation, pioneered the points-and-season model that broke OpenSea's dominance. Right now, however, there is no confirmed distribution programme a newcomer could join.

Seasons 1 and 2 (2023): a combined 700M BLUR distributed to the community, including the initial airdrop.
Season 3 (Blast-powered): closed on June 26, 2024, with a 30-day claim window.
During this period Blur said it remained the #1 NFT marketplace and #1 NFT lending protocol globally.
Season 4: started June 26, 2024, allocating 500M BLAST to Ethereum NFT traders over 12 months.
Half of 6M Blast Phase 2 Gold was also allocated to Blur's NFT traders.
In July 2024, 34 addresses incorrectly flagged were corrected, receiving a total of 17M BLAST including a 20% bonus.

No official distribution or points programme is currently running, so new participants earn nothing.
In June 2024 a flagging bug delayed some users' airdrops, showing distribution operations have had errors.
A November 2024 governance proposal to enable BLUR's fee switch has no confirmed outcome since.
Season 3 and 4 rewards were paid in Blast's $BLAST, not additional $BLUR itself.
