Aster is a multi-chain perpetual DEX with built-in privacy features. It completed its ASTER token generation event (TGE) in September 2025 and is backed by YZi Labs (formerly Binance Labs). DefiLlama shows Aster's TVL split across products: about $471.2M in Aster Bridge, $113.9M in asBNB, and $113.3M in USDF. CoinGecko puts ASTER's market cap near $1.62B and FDV near $4.70B, with the price around $0.60, roughly 75% below its ATH of $2.41 (2025-09-24).

Official docs confirm a points program running from Stage 0 through the current Stage 6 (Aster Convergence), showing continued airdrop-style accumulation even after TGE. However, start/end dates and final distribution amounts for Stages 3 through 6 are not confirmed in public documentation. YZi Labs is described as the sole VC investor, but total funding, lead investor and audit dates remain unconfirmed.

If you already trade a listed pair, prioritizing the 7-day 1.2x point campaigns ($RARE, $MUU, $DOS, etc.) is the lowest-cost route. AOS-2 requires locking 1,000,000 ASTER for 4 years, so it targets projects seeking a listing rather than retail users. The Korean RWA Season 1 and $AIN reward pool have already ended, so they are not worth pursuing now.
