Thailand's four crypto exchanges compared on real data: Bitkub, Binance TH, Bitazza, Upbit

By: AIrdrop Agent Editorial TeamBinanceBitkubTrading

If you want to buy crypto with Thai baht, there are four main options.

Let me start with the most important conclusion. Every licensed exchange in Thailand is spot only. None of them offer futures or leveraged trading. If you want to touch perps, these four cannot meet that requirement.

The second conclusion is that the number of assets you can buy directly in baht differs by more than tenfold between them.

Comparison table

The figures are measured from each company''s public API.

Start from the fact that there are no futures

This matters if you trade perp DEXs for airdrops. All four licensed Thai exchanges offer spot trading only — confirmed from their current menu structures.

In other words, you cannot earn perp-style points, as on Hyperliquid or Lighter, through a Thai exchange. The realistic split is to treat these four as your on- and off-ramp between baht and crypto, and to do perps on an offshore venue.

What the gap in baht-quoted assets means

Bitkub has 366 while Binance TH has just 11. Nothing describes their characters better.

  • Bitkub: deposit from a Thai bank and pick from 366 assets directly. The fewest steps
  • Binance TH: baht pairs cover only 11 assets such as BTC, ETH, XRP, SOL and BNB. Everything else is a two-step route of baht → USDT → the asset you want. That said, it has the most pairs overall at 540, and 391 USDT pairs is a global-standard lineup
  • Bitazza: balanced, with 140 baht-quoted assets. Its Visa card tied to the FDM token is unique
  • Upbit Thailand: only 20 baht-quoted assets, but a distinctive 211 BTC-quoted pairs. For people who run everything against bitcoin

Fees

Bitkub is the clear one: a flat 0.25% for both maker and taker, with free crypto deposits.

The other three vary with promotions and trading volume, so always check the current terms on the official site before opening an account. I am not putting guessed numbers in this article.

Apps and DCA

  • Bitkub: has an app, with an Auto DCA feature
  • Binance TH: iOS and Android apps, with a DCA menu. Also offers VIP and OTC services
  • Bitazza: has an app (over 3 million cumulative installs) and states support for more than 90 assets
  • Upbit Thailand: a simple menu of Markets, Wallets, My Trade and Trends. No DCA feature is visible

If you want to buy a fixed amount every month, Bitkub or Binance TH are the options.

What you need to open an account

KYC is strict at all four.

  1. ID (Thai ID card for Thai nationals, passport for foreigners)
  2. A Thai visa (for foreigners; which types are accepted varies, so check)
  3. A Thai bank account (required for baht deposits and withdrawals)
  4. Identity verification by selfie and document photos

Without a Thai bank account, none of them are really usable.

Honest caveats

  • Fees are higher than at the global majors. The more you trade, the more the gap shows
  • Binance TH is a separate service from binance.com. Your global account does not work there and the features do not match
  • Always check tax with a professional. This is where Thai taxation meets Japanese residency rules, and deciding on your own is the most dangerous option
  • Asset counts and fees change. The numbers here are from the time of research

Summary

There is one thing to do. Check whether you have a Thai bank account. If you do, start with Bitkub to see how baht trading feels, then add Binance TH when you move on to running things in USDT.

⚠️ This is not investment advice. Asset counts, fees and features change — check the latest terms on each official site, and consult a professional about tax.
