Nansen Weekly USDC Lottery: Week 8 Guide and How to Join
What's Happening
Nansen is running a weekly USDC lottery campaign. As of August 3, 2026, it is in Week 8, with draws held every Tuesday at 10:00 UTC. Over 800 winners split $100 to $1,000 in USDC each week. No native token has been issued yet; this campaign runs alongside the ongoing Points program.
What to Do
The steps to participate are:
- Create a free account at nansen.ai.
- Trade spot or perpetuals to earn Points and tickets.
- Get your referral link and earn extra tickets from invitees' trading volume.
- Check the results of the Tuesday 10:00 UTC draw.
Ticket requirements differ by trade type.
| Trade Type | Your Trading | Referral's Trading |
|---|---|---|
| Spot | 1 ticket per $1,000 | 1 ticket per $5,000 |
| Perps | 1 ticket per $10,000 | 1 ticket per $50,000 |
Rather than forcing up your own trading volume, combining normal trading with sharing your referral link appears to be a more cost-effective approach. Keep in mind that trading naturally involves costs such as fees and slippage.
Past Seasons and Distribution History
Nansen Points can be earned through subscriptions and trading, but the official FAQ explicitly states they are "not a token." Details on the end dates and distribution amounts of the seasonal points program (e.g., Season 01) have not been confirmed. The current weekly USDC lottery has continued through Week 8 as an ongoing campaign, but the total distribution amount, supply share, snapshot date, and claim deadline have not been disclosed.
Cautions
- No native token has been announced, so there is no guarantee that Points or tickets will convert into a token or airdrop.
- In September 2023, a breach via a third-party vendor exposed email addresses, password hashes, and some blockchain addresses, reportedly affecting about 6.8–7% of all users.
- The names of auditors and audit dates could not be confirmed, and security disclosure appears limited.
- The terms and regional restrictions for receiving lottery USDC prizes are not officially specified.
Given these points, trying a small amount of spot trading as part of your regular trading flow carries limited risk, but pushing up trading volume solely to farm Points is not something we'd recommend.
