Grass is a DePIN project where installing a browser extension or dedicated app lets you share spare bandwidth for AI companies' data collection and earn points in return. $GRASS had its TGE on Solana on October 28, 2024, and is now listed on CoinGecko. In Season 1 (Airdrop One), 10% (100 million GRASS) of total supply was distributed.
An ongoing program that lets you keep accruing Uptime Points and Network Points is still active. The team has mentioned that Season 2 is being prepared or is underway, but the timing and criteria for distribution have not yet been disclosed. Additionally, Grass Foundation's first Token Holder Call is scheduled for November 24, 2025, 13:00(ET), where business progress, revenue, and growth updates are expected to be shared.

Things to Watch Out For
- Grass's official FAQ states that residents of sanctioned or otherwise regulated regions may not be eligible to receive $GRASS.
- $GRASS has fallen 42.6% over the past 30 days from its ATH of $3.89 (Nov 8, 2024); the current price is roughly $0.32, with a market cap of about $210M and an FDV of about $321M.
- Since Season 2's distribution terms and timing are undisclosed, the real value of points you accumulate now remains uncertain.
- The official site mentions the project is "regularly audited," but the auditor's name and audit dates are not confirmed.
While the cost to participate is low, additional investment (such as running multiple devices) is hard to justify before the scale and terms of the next season are known. It may be more sensible to stick with the free ongoing program for now and gauge direction after the November 24 Token Holder Call.
